Chinese steel product export and import data fro April

According to the General Administration of Customs said China export of finished steel products surged to 4.31 million tonnes in April 2010 up by 29.4% or by 0.98 million tonnes from 3.33 million tonnes in March 2010, surpassing 4 million tonnes for the first time this year.

According to the statement the nation imports of iron ore slid to 55.33 million tonnes in March 2010 down by 6.2% or by3.68 million tons from 59.01 million tonnes in March 2010.
