IP-Entry Door Control Appliance
IP-Entry is the concept of a fully IP-based platform for complete building automation.
Once it has been installed, no other external software is required. The most sophisticated version, "DCA-
Videocom", even integrates audio and video components via internet protocols. Thus, all the elements of a
state-of-the-art building automation terminal are com bined in a single device.
Familiar modules such as access control, time & attendance and alarm recording can be used as the customer requires and can be specified to their own require ments. This facilitates applications with a wide range of potential uses, all based on a single, universal hardware and software platform.
Thanks to its web capability, the system can be installed, monitored and configured at any time, from
anywhere in the world. Depending what the customer wants, the whole system can be supplied as a stand alone solution, or as a complex network structure(Enterprise Edition).
Any common proximity card technology can be read. Modules for time control are also available. All decisions can be made independently using an integrated database or over the company's own network.
SSL encryption ensures secure data transfer.
Variants
Standalone
The Standalone mode is autarkic useful for a single door or a small building and consists of a Door Controller, optional with an external Database.
Small Business
The Small Business mode will add a central database to allow for shared data record and event storage amongst multiple Controller in one internal network (Intranet).
Enterprise & ASP
This two modes add a host computer, either off-site or on-site to the system. The host will serve as the source for most administrator user interface, and will offer features required by larger sites and ASP account management. |
